Application Development Manager
Location: Chicagoland Area
Description: RiverPoint is looking for a senior Application Development Manager with experience managing large scale and complex projects within big organizations.
Your responsibilities will be twofold - You will be working on project delivery throughout the entire life cycle and will need to accept project delivery accountability. You will also provide leadership among peers in the area of recommendations to develop new, or change existing, structured project methodologies.
You will have particular strength in the evaluation and ability to provide client consulting in project management process best practices and the application of these practices to their real life project. You may be asked or required to deliver your change recommendations on large, complex, and/or high risk projects.

Qualifications/Necessary Skills:
Project Manager: 10+ years Project Management experience required. PMP Certification required. Extensive background in project planning and experience in managing requirements gathering, business analysis, development, testing, and deployment. Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively work with people in immediate team, other departments and/or outside the enterprise.
Experience working with and coordinating cross-functional teams. Must be adaptable and be comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Able to work with multiple projects and balance multiple priorities.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required as well as strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Added Plus:
- Experience managing application developed in C++/Java Framework
- Experience within the health and or financial industry
Educational Requirements:
BS in Computer Science or related business field, MS or MBA a plus. PMP Certification
Minimum Experience: 10+ years
