Java Developer 7749S
Location: Overland Park, KS
Description: The Java Developer will be responsible for working in a small team environment developing and maintaining Java code that drives internal and external Web sites. Role will include:
- Build database driven applications in Java to help support our internal and external applications
- Maintain and modify existing applications
- Troubleshoot problems and identify opportunities for improvement
- Write or revise program documentation, operations documentation and user guides
What will be expected:
The successful candidate will need a demonstrated knowledge of Java Enterprise programming including a mix of exposure to JEE including EJB3, JSP and Servlets. He/she will also need a strong knowledge of Web standards including HTML, JavaScript and CSS with a demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies. He/she also must be able to communicate technical concepts to the other staff members and the ability to interact with non-technical members of the organization.
