Senior Systems Analyst 7676S
Location: Eastern Jackson County, MO
Description: The selected Systems Analyst will be responsible for working with cross-functional groups to facilitate the manufacturing/ERP processes of a global organization. He/she will be expected to interpret and explain complex technology and business issues to the technical, general user, management and executive levels. In addition, He/she will be responsible for running data queries to facilitate reporting.
What will be expected:
The selected candidate must have 10 years experience in programming and systems analysis plus recent management experience on major projects. He/she will need extensive experience in an AS/400 environment with extensive knowledge of RPG and systems analysis. He/she also will need a working knowledge of JD Edwards software and issues related to a multiplatform infrastructure of Windows 95/98, Windows NT, Novell, AS/400, telecommunications, and LAN and WAN technologies. They also prefer proficiency in Excel and other query/reporting tools. He/she must have good business sense and awareness of manufacturing issues with the ability to prioritize multiple projects meeting assigned deadlines with minimal direction. He/she will need effective interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with peers, management and customers. He/she also will need to be detail-oriented, self-motivated and have a strong initiative to learn.
