WAP/Java Developer 7768S
Location: Kansas City, MO
Description: We are looking for a WAP / Java programmer with experience developing SMS services and custom WAP solutions. This person would be augmenting a team at one of our partner agencies in the implementation of a share mobility platform. The expectation is that this person would be client-facing and could take a lead role amongst a team of developers. The position will require up between 25% and 75% travel to Atlanta to work with the partner agency for approximately 3 months.
What will be expected:
Technically, he/she must have a strong skill set in Java and J2EE protocols, JSP and Tag Libs including SOAP, JSON, REST, WAP 2.0 xHTML MP and CSS. In addition, he/she must have experience with SMS services and WAP custom solutions/ integration. Since this person will be a client-facing subject matter expert, he/she must be a confident leader who can drive project priorities using diplomacy and tact.
