RiverPoint Group Recognized as Registered Education Provider by Project Management Institute
Chicago, IL (July 23, 2007) - RiverPoint Group LLC, an IT professional services firm providing innovative business and staffing solutions, today announced that it has been recognized by Project Management Institute (PMI®) as a Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.). As an R.E.P., RiverPoint now offers project management training to Project Management Professional (PMP®) candidates and credential holders for continuing education credit.
The PMI R.E.P. Program is the premier comprehensive continuing education program related to the field of project management. It is designed to enhance the ongoing professional development of PMI members, PMPs, and other project management stakeholders through the offering of quality learning experiences and activities. Established in 1999 following the introduction of its new continuing education requirement to maintain PMP status, the R.E.P. Program allows approved participants to register their educational activities through PMI, while agreeing to abide by PMI specified program criteria, including rigorous quality assurance, audit and review process.
